HubSpot renamed its AI tools again. A plain map of Agent Hub and Breeze, and which agents to switch on first
HubSpot's AI lineup has been renamed so many times that most teams I talk to cannot say what they already pay for.
What happened
Zapier published a fresh guide to HubSpot's AI tools that untangles the current naming. Breeze is now the brand for Breeze Assistant, the in-app chat helper included on every edition including free, and Breeze Intelligence, the enrichment and buyer intent layer built on more than 200 million company and buyer profiles. Autonomous agents moved to Agent Hub, which launched in public beta in July 2026 and is included with Starter, Professional and Enterprise. Agent Builder, formerly Breeze Studio, lives inside it.
The prebuilt agents cover content, campaigns, nurture, prospecting, CRM data questions, deal progression after calls, customer support and invoice follow-up. Agent Builder agents can trigger on a schedule, a contact update, a webhook or a third party integration, and reach other systems over MCP, with supported servers including Notion, Jira, Asana and Zapier. Breeze Assistant can also draft a workflow from plain English and leaves it switched off until you review it.
On cost, Zapier's guide says the Prospecting Agent charges $1 per recommended lead, whether or not a rep sends the email. HubSpot's own documentation says credits are consumed when the agent generates outreach per lead, that it finds up to three contacts per company, and that you set a daily limit on new suggestions.
My take
Most of the value here depends on the state of your CRM, not on the agent. The Customer Agent is only as good as your knowledge base, and the Prospecting Agent is only as good as your segments and signals.
Where I would start:
- Deal progression: it proposes stage, amount and next step changes after each call and waits for approval. Low risk, high time saved.
- Data Agent for RevOps: fill researched custom fields across a list instead of doing it by hand.
- Prospecting Agent only after you set a tight segment and a low daily limit, because per lead billing adds up fast.
And keep the review step on until the output has earned your trust.
