ZoomInfo now has a verified n8n node that reads live company data at run time. Time to retire the stale CSV exports
ZoomInfo data no longer has to arrive in n8n as a spreadsheet someone exported last month.
What happened
ZoomInfo announced a native integration with n8n that ships as a verified node, built and maintained by ZoomInfo. A workflow authenticates with the customer's own ZoomInfo credentials and then calls ZoomInfo's GTM Context Graph directly, which ZoomInfo says covers more than 100 million companies and 500 million contacts.
Inside a workflow the node can search contacts by company, title, seniority and location, enrich existing contact and company records, search companies by size, revenue and industry, and monitor buyer intent, organizational changes and news on target accounts. Every result comes back as its own item, so a workflow can loop, filter and pass data on to a CRM. The node can also run as a tool that an n8n AI agent calls on its own. n8n's listing adds that it is built on ZoomInfo's GTM API with OAuth 2.0, includes an operation to check API request and credit usage, and that verified nodes need a one time setup by an instance owner.
ZoomInfo's pitch is that teams used to stitch its data into automations through static exports that go stale within weeks. Permissions, data lineage and audit logging stay tied to each customer's ZoomInfo account.
My take
If your client already pays for ZoomInfo, this removes a lot of glue. No more custom HTTP nodes, no more weekly CSV uploads into HubSpot or GoHighLevel. But live data is metered data, so the design matters more than the node.
How I would wire it:
- Enrich only when a lead passes a gate, such as form fit or deal stage, not on every new record.
- Check the CRM for a recent enrichment date before calling ZoomInfo, and write that date back after.
- Use the credit usage operation in a daily check and alert before the balance runs low.
- Give an AI agent the search and enrich tools only for the jobs that need them, and log every call it makes.
- Turn intent and org change signals into CRM tasks for a rep, not straight into outbound email.
The node is the easy part. The rules around it are what keep the CRM clean and the bill predictable.
